The most common surgery after giving birth.

One of the toughest things on a woman’s body is pregnancy. Pregnancy comes with a lot of weight gain, rapid weight loss, expanding of skin and above all a kid pressing against a mother’s internal organs for several months. This is the main reason why you hear about pre and post-baby bodies. After having a pregnancy for months it is very normal that there will be scarring one way or another. Women will also find excess fat around the stomach and breasts might fall towards the southern side. Another great impact is the network of stretch marks that might appear on the stomach, there might even be brown patches of pigmentation that might appear on your body.

How to have a Nice Mummy Body

Women go through a lot during pregnancy and even after the pregnancy there are so many changes that might occur. It is normal that a woman would want back their body. Lucky for them, there are new technologies and treatments that make it possible for women to recover their before look faster than before. This can be referred to as a “reconstructive” procedure and any woman would want to be restored back to where they were before they delivered. Having a good body really boosts a woman’s confidence. There are so many surgeons around the world who can perform plastic surgeries after pregnancies to help women get their bodies back.

Types of Surgeries after Childbirth

There are various surgeries for rehabbing a woman’s stomach, complexion, breast and even vagina. There are a number of procedures that can be performed and it is all about the new mother choosing the part of their body they want corrected.
• Stomach
This is usually the most affected area during pregnancy since it is the space that the child occupies and there is massive stretching and contraction. It is very normal to have abdominal looseness and no matter what a woman tries to do it is hard getting the same tone as before. During pregnancy a person’s abdominal muscles get stretched and separated so that they can accommodate the baby. After delivery, these muscles never completely return to the position and shape they were before. This is a condition known as diatasis recti and even in extreme cases, the muscles might remain separated in a large way that the woman might still look pregnant even after delivery.
The other major problem is the lax which is loose skin. This happens due to the overstretching of the belly for several months. For this problem, there is a solution and that is the tummy tuck (abdominoplasty). During this procedure the surgeon usually brings the abdominal muscles back together in a way that the core will be tightened. After that, he re-drapes the skip between the woman’s bikini line and lower ribs. At the end of the day, this procedure tightens and flattens the abdominal skin and it can even help get rid of stretchmarks.
• Breasts
Age is known to make women’s breasts droop but then when pregnancy is added they tend to droop even more. Postpartum breast changes include sagging, nipples might change, the areolas grow bigger and breasts can lose volume. The primary solutions for this include breast implants, a breast lift, and even in some cases both. In case the woman has just lost volume after delivery, and the nipple is good, breast augmentation is the best option.
• Stretch marks
Marks might appear on a woman’s stomach or hips after a pregnancy. These are some of the hardest things to get rid of. Creams can hardly get rid of these marks completely and that is why there are some procedures such as microfocused radiofrequency which work by delivering radiofrequency energy through some insulated microneedles. This process works by breaking down fibrous tissue of stretch marks and remodelling the body’s collagen.
• Vaginal reconstructive surgery
Vaginoplasty is a procedure that targets to tighten up a vagina that has become loose from childbirth. The main aim of this procedure is to sort of give a woman a designer vagina. Apart from tightening a vagina it also improves the sensitivity.

The most important thing is for a woman to find the areas of their body they want reconstructed after they have delivered.
