While you are recovering from the butt augmentation, your body needs a lot of rest and will of course be limited from performing certain tasks. But, butt augmentation has much more limitations on the way the person should rest. Patients here must avoid sitting on their buttocks for at least first three weeks. This holds true for both butt implants and BBL or Brazilian Butt Lift as the implants and/or Clinique anti aging butt injections both need time to be set into place. When you put pressure on the buttocks post butt augmentation, it may shift the implants or tissue and change the shape and volume of the outcome. Additionally, the fat grafted into the butts during a BBL has sufficient time to integrate with the remaining tissue and get vascularization or development or extending the blood vessels or else the injected fat may not sustain for long. Hence, you need to get acquainted with sitting properly post butt augmentation to gain a successful result.
Sitting
While sitting is not recommended for a few weeks, but you can sit for a few minutes when needed. While on it, roll a thick towel and place it under your knees and another one placed behind your back. This helps in sitting without any extra pressure on the butt since your butt will not be in touch with the cheeks. Prevent driving for at least 6 weeks. But if need to drive short distances, always use the towels. When it comes to your work, you can return after 2 to 3 weeks post surgery.
Using the bathroom
After the surgery, you will need to done a compression garment for a month. It has to be worn for the entire day except when showering. Hence, choose the one that can be unfastened from the bottom to make it easy for you. As sitting is not recommended, use squatting position every time. You can also use stool softeners to make the process faster and comfortable. For cleaning, go for baby wipes to keep the incision sites at bay.
Resting
When resting, never lie on your back as it puts pressure on your augmented butt and may impact your results. Sleeping on the side may not be allowed for a few weeks as it may shift the implant. Hence, your entire resting period should be spent lying on your tummy. It may certainly strain your neck so equip yourself with pillows at an angle to keep yourself comfortable. It is recommended to take short walks often. It helps in easing the tension on the neck and body and also fades the swelling and blood circulation.
